The i1R 2 EOS is the upgraded version of i1R EOS. This extremely tiny keychain light reaches an incredible max output of 150 lumens thanks to the brand new 5-sided glowing Chip Scale Packaging LED. The i1R 2 is built from aluminum alloy and features a built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery that charges through a Micro-USB port without disassembling the light. With its compact size and dual modes(5 and 150 lumens), the i1R 2 is the perfect keychain flashlight for everyday carry.

- Fantastic Micro LightI had been looking for a very small, keychain sized light for every day carry and usage for low light requirements. I tried a couple of different flashlights. Another Olight initially replaced my old MagLight, but I found was still too bright for my needs. Then I got this light...with its dual light modes, long battery life and the perfect size...its a winner. I have it clipped to my Bic lighter holder and it fits perfect in my coin pocket. excellent daily use and companion to my SR1 Baton.

- Best keychain light available.I was fortunate to receive an i1R 2 EOS as a free gift during one of my Olight binges, and O what a light! Previously I used small button battery led lights for my keychains, but their output pales in comparison. This little light has two very usable levels, the highest setting being more that adequate for finding your way in the dark. The lowest is great for up close illumination w/o blinding glare. I have since purchased a half dozen of these as gifts for friends. Every person I have shown this little light to is amazed. Never be without light, now there are no excuses.

- Thank you for the upgradesThe i1R EOS (v.1) was and is a great little light. Easy to use, takes up no space on your keychain, and rechargeable. However, my biggest gripe with it was that in order to charge it, you had to remove the cap completely. This presented a big problem in the event that you lost the cap while charging the battery. This concern was voiced to the Olight team by many of us avid fans.
Olight, you listened and listened well!
Enter the i1R 2 EOS. All the things we loved about the v.1, plus a spring-loaded cap lock that keeps the top attached while charging! For a keychain light, this thing is now damn-near perfect!Posted on
- HOW?How do they make something this powerful and small and sell it at this price point?
No long ago I paid a lot of money to buy a light that threw 120 Lumens, this little fella is 150 Lumens! Red light while its charging Green when it is charged.
Incredible.
This is one of my go to lights believe it or not.
I EDC the S2R, and S1R, but this light is close by.

- Nice improvement!Not sure why but seems much easier to plug in the micro USB than the previous model. As others have said, the 5 lumen setting is great. Perfect for my old eyes to read a menu...bright enough to actually be usable for me. The high setting...a wow for it's tiny size. Short run time as one would expect. But with the easier charging...no longer something I avoid like I did with the former model. Bottom line from me, yet another funtastic light from Olight. 5 stars for sure. Really nice tiny light.

- Small but packs a punch.Olight sent this little light for free with my order of two PL-PRO lights. I was shocked at how nice it was but gave it to my wife today for Christmas. I charged it up and put it on her keychain, she loved it and was very impressed.

- Awesome little light.The only reason I didn't give it a five star is because of the one thing it's missing. A small hat clip would put this awesome light over the top. Carry an s30r for edc. Olight has quickly made it's way into every camp bag and vehicle I own. They make the best lights. Keep it up olight.

- Good light, new version doesn’t include charging cable.Good light but the new version doesn’t come with a charging cable. New version seems a tad brighter and/or whiter than old version and requires less twisting to operate than the old version.

- Great light!This is one of those flashlights you never thought you needed until you get one! The size is perfect and the light output is excellent, not to mention the affordable price. My wife “borrowed” it for when she walks the dog in the evenings Since it’s easier to use and brighter than her phone light. So I’m going to have to buy another one for me!!

- Best Key Chain light you can getI love this thing. Its a nice backup light to my EDC light, mostly because sometimes I forget to put my main light in my pocket, however, I cant leave home without my keys, So its nice to always have a light. I also Like this light WAY better than the other Keychain light Olight has because I somehow had the cap if that light tiwst off and I lost not only the LED Top but the Battery as well. This one cannot Come off all the way so I feel way more confident about the build and durablity of this one. Thanks olight for being amazing.

- Great lightI use the 5lm all the time amd have the 150lm when I need it. The 5lm is great for getting around the house in the dark without waking everyone. It's great for finding the right key and for finding something you dropped in the dark. Absolutely a great light.

- Best flashlightI owned the first and I like this as a second , I’m in security and I use the sr1 baton 2 it would be best flashlight in the world considering it charges fully in 50 minutes. No manufacturers can match.

- PACKS A PUNCHI've been using this light for a few weeks and it is amazing. It's very bright and the beam is well balanced with the familiar cool light. I would suggest you find a small hook of some kind because this thing is REALLY small, I'm more likely to loose it than break it. I use it on my key chain and as a zipper pull on my slingbag. I also regret not buying more when they were on sale but even at the regular price, this little guy is worth having.

- AwesomeDidn't hold too much hope for the minuscule device and I already have an I3E EOS on my keyring, but since it was free... Figured to use it as a toss-off gift, but, being the inquisitive type, I charged it up and tried it... Ok, it's pretty good until you tighten the head down just a bit more, then it's BRIGHT! Brighter than the I3E EOS by far. Because of the limited run-time on high, it isn't a primary EDC, but for incidental use, it's outstanding! I'm keeping this one and getting more for gifts.

- Tiny, bright and more useful than first expected.I got this light for free during a promotion and when it arrived, I couldn’t believe how much light output a device this small could produce. I use this everyday at work and it still surprises me how much it can light up for something not even the size of a AA battery. I like the micro usb recharging feature and I’ve beat mine to Hell and back but it’s still kicking with no signs of it going anywhere or needing replaced. I actually hope Olight gives this away again in another promotion coming up because I find this super useful and may just have to outright purchase another one (maybe in a limited edition color) wink wink nudge nudge.

- Good little light.I received a few of these for free from this past Black Friday sales. I really like the fact they are rechargeable and the way they collapse to hide and protect the micro usb charging port. As far as the light goes its decent however i prefer the construction, and size of the i3E EOS and i also feel like they are equally in power with little difference in overall brightness and throw. I am giving them four stars because of some of the features and they were freebies.

- Rechargeable keychain lightBecause of the flash sales I think in total I have 4-5 or 6 by now. Okay I'm a fan of Olight. I've never owned a little keychain light that is rechargeable, let alone a keychain light period to be honest. With that being said this little keychain rechargeable flashlight is awesome. Put it on your keychain and once you leave your house "for those of us that take our keys with us" you'll always have something you can rely on. It's bright enough for a emergency in any case.... I'm sure you get my point. Get yourself 1 or get 1 or 2 as a gift... IMHO you or ???? Won't be disappointed.

- Useful little lightThis is a handy little light. I was surprised at how small it is. The modes are very well-spaced at 5 LU for Low and 150 LU for High. I like how this newer version does not come apart like the original i1R. The beam is more on the Cool White side than is on the Neutral White side. There is a good sized center hot spot that smoothly blends into a barely useful spill light. This being a keychain light, the beam pattern is still more than adequate. Charging the i1R2 is simple. You just have to attach a micro USB cable to the port that is exposed once the light is unscrewed. The two halves have a little over two complete turns from being tightened as far as they will go and to the point where they come apart. (I do not mean come apart into two pieces either.) I found from the point where the threads first began to match up as you tighten the two halves, the Low mode will come in about one full turn. It will reach High in another quarter turn. After that, the two halves can still be turned to complete tightness in half a turn. Basically, to avoid turning ON accidentally to Low, it might be a good idea to back off the two halves another half turn from the point where it first turns on Low. This leaves only half a turn before the two halves come apart. I think it would have been far better for there to be at least three full turns so the two halves would have to require more than a half a turn before coming apart. The two halves spin very easily with no friction at all, so coming apart is not a problem. The specs state High will last for 15 minutes. I found High did last 15 minutes before it ramped down to about 50 LU. This also made the Low mode less than 5 LU after 15 minutes.

- bright for the sizeI got this light for free after purchasing the PL-Pro on Black Friday. I'll have to say I did not need an edc light since I already carry one in my pocket and my keychain is quite full. I turned it on for the first time not thinking it would be bright and blinded myself. I compared it to one of my Amazon led flashlights rated somewhere around 800 lumens. I think the Olight was at least as strong if not brighter than it with good throw. It's definitely brighter than my 2 cell led Maglite I keep in the car. Right now it's being delegated to my quick bedside light. It's a really impressive light for its size.

- Handiest light I own ! i1R 2 EOSI got one of these as a giveaway with a large purchase I made.
I kinda scoffed at it ,but charged it & started carrying it in my pocket.
Great output for 150 lumens!
I can charge it I need to with just a regular mini USB cable.
Holds a charge for weeks. Doesn't get hot.
Good battery life & fully charges in little over an hour.
