This is an exceptionally well-made flashlight. The machining is clean and precise. The design is functionally comfortable, The varied light settings are very useful. On top of all that, it's just plain PRETTY! Wow - what a deep blue color! My only "complaint" is that the charging cable is too short to be of much help to ME. I guess it migh be fine for others, I'll be giving these to friends for Christmas this year!

I've purchased several recently, love this light!!!! it's such a handy light and I have a lot of O-lights!! I have to say, this has become one of my recent favorites! it's easy to recharge, as i have lots of USB C cables and it's super bright and the beam is perfect--- a true "sleeper" light --- so don't sleep on it, get it, you'll love it! So cool it accepts AA alkalines too!. Cheers, Michael

Super great flashlight! CRI is an often overlooked parameter. OLIGHT nailed it on this upgrade. I was truly surprised when I compared this light to a neutral white flashlight. The clarity is amazing. This LED would make a great addition to the Arkfeld line.

I own several Olight i5T EOS original (AA alkaline/NiMH/disposable Lithium) lights and greatly apprecate the improved LED color temperature of this i5R EOS. The LED color temperature (5000K) is close to mid-day daylight rendering natural colors vs the off natual colors of the LED in the original i5T EOS. Also love the AA battery type versatility in this light. Will definitely be adding more OLight i5R EOS Flashlights to my collection in the future!

This light is amazing ! The included rechargable battery is long lasting and nice and bright . it will also run on any AA battery you choose but it will be a bit dimmer .

My first Olight and what a great first impression! I'm an electrician and I had been searching for a pen light that I could carry everywhere. I bought this as a package deal with the Mini Drever. This fits in any pocket or clips on a shirt collar or chest pocket and 5 minutes later you forget it until you need it. The pocket clip is the highlight of this light for me personally. I think almost all EDC gear should have this design. Strong, consistent and versatile. It will prompt me to buy more of these and find a couple more powerful Olights for around my home. The chargeable battery is powerful and is the future of power sources. I refuse to buy lights that miss this feature.

Actually I found the these "R" lights will run on on regular 1.2 volt rechargables, regular alkalines, as well as the included lithium rechargeable of course. Their a little bit dimmer on the other power sources, but not much. Makes them a very versatile little light. I love them. Great for gifting too.

No this one is rechargeable but the one that used a AA battery is the lesser expensive one with its code number ending with a T. I own both and the one using the AA is a very good light that I use around the house the rechargeable one is also very good but is brighter. Honestly I can’t choose between them but the AA model is very convenient if you just have a AA battery with you incase your not able to recharge the rechargeable one. Hope I made sense I am 78 years and hard to explain things at times. Thanks
