Will 16340 batteries fit in this? Love the light, would love a rechargable option (aside from RCR123). Thanks!

Dear customer, the PL-2 Valkyrie Tactical Light does not fit with 16340 batteries, but with CR123A Battery. Thank you for your support of Olight!

When is the PL-2 Valkyrie is going to be back in stock. I’ve been checking your web site everyday for over a month and it is still showing out of stock ? If it’s discontinued please let me know so I can make another selection.

Turns on when I need it, turns off when I don't. I was initially concerned that the light would be accidentally activated in my bag when I wasn't using it. The light gets HOT after a few minutes of runtime too. However that wasn't the case, I don't think it's accidentally activated at all. It's a great light and a lot of fun to use! Will be buying more O Light products soon

My pl2 gets hung on my edc cz p01 as soon as it comes out of the holster at bed time. I bought it over the pl pro precisely because it takes cr 123 batteries. I also throw it in my backpack if I'm going out at night , and have spare batteries in my bag. The ability to quickly change batteries and be back at it is much better than yet another item to remember to recharge at night.

Own two PL-2 valkyries now, as well as one PL-Pro in FDE(brown). Caught them on holiday sale over a couple yrs . PL-2 has a brighter white light than the PL-Pro, but the Pro's light shines a little further, plus it's lo/hi beam. The PL-2 is a great deal. But only comes in black. SUGGESTION: offer all your WMLs in Olive drab, FDE, as well as black. many in warmer climates prefer the cooler in sunlight, true military FDE (tan) color though. Olight's FDE is actually a brown. Still better than just black though. I want a *tan FDE* as well as an Olive Drab PL-2 Valkyrie lights next. Get busy on it Olight !

Great EDC light. I picked up the PL-2 Valkyrie during their Christmas Sale and couldn't be happier with my purchase. I've ahd the chance to run it for a few weeks now and the 1200 lumens out to 250yds + is great, makes positively identifying targets at 100 yards (whither it be for target practice or hunting) super easy and confident. No issues with it mounted up. Love it, only complaint/issue is not having an "off" switch, when I stow itl bag I have to be careful it does not accidently get turned on and run the battery since I keep it in my EDC truck tool so having a light I know will function when needed it paramount, but the quality of this light I know it will be there for me when needed. Also, I can easily take it off the picatinny rail and use it as a handheld light if needed. If you're going back and forth on whither or not to get one, go for it, you won't be disappointed.

I have one mounted on my GL 22 and it fits perfectly. It puts out a nice bright amount of light that reaches out a good ways, and has a strobe feature when wanted or needed. Like others have mentioned the fact that it uses batteries instead of a built in rechargeable power source is a major plus. If it runs out of juice just pop in some new batteries and you're immediately back in business, unlike a rechargeable type of light. And to be somewhat eco friendly you can always use rechargeable type batteries. Now I need to get one for my Sub2000.

I got this light almost two years ago now, I have done a video on it and it is one of the best lights on the market, I would put this light up against any light on the market. It is strong durable, and has held up to intense daily use for over two years now and it is working just as bright now as it did two years ago. Notice, I did say it is working as bright. I have purchased more expensive lights from other manufactures, you can say they are wlll known with issues, they just don't last. However the OLight lights work like a champ. Thanks guys for making the best lights ever. dale

I own two of the PL-2s. Also two of the mini valkyries. While both are great lights, I prefer the PL-2 precisely because it does NOT have the magnetic charging capability. While that seems like a great idea, it comes across in reality as more gimmick than function. I do not “plug” my tool in at night to recharge my tactical light. I prefer the battery option, and always keep a spare set near me if needed. Would love to see the mini find a way to be standard battery as well. Currently run the PL-2s on a Sig P320 and an EVO. Works great on both platforms. Have a couple of mini torches too. Never had any issues with any of my Olight products. Purchase with confidence.
