The R50 PRO is a high-output, rechargeable side-switch LED searchlight that utilizes Olights signature magnetic charging system. The high power LED searchlight R50 Pro holds a Cree XHP70 LED with four light emitting cores to deliver a maximum output of 3200 lumens which delivers over three times the output of a high-performance flashlight using a Cree XM-L2 LED. The included 4500mAh lithium rechargeable battery provides unprecedented power and runtimes for a LED searchlight of this size. Similar to the original R50 Seeker, the light uses a translucent side switch and chamfered edges to achieve a more premium look and feel. Great size and the single Cree XHP70 is very bright.
Similar brightness to the Seeker 2 Pro, which has multiple LEDs.
R50 is a little larger than the Seeker 2 Pro, and the charging cable will only work with the R50.
The Seeker 2 Pro's charging cable with work with some other Olights.

I've had four batteries die for this single light. There is a problem wither with the charger, the tail cap or at batteries themselves. All four batteries dies in exactly the same way and looking online many people are also reporting the same issues. I've had V1 and V2 batteries however I have a $140 light which cannot be used.
I've contacted Olight support a number of times, however been very disappointed in the support and feedback. Sending a new battery that fails a few months later is not a solution.

Huge fan of this company, I have been using the R50 Seeker Pro for over a year, used every day for work as a home Inspector. This light has been dragged through, crawlspaces and attics, dropped on concrete floors and has never let me down, i have the charging base in my vehicle and its always ready to go. Keep up the great work Olight!!

Along with other members in my search and rescue unit I'm partial to Olight's products and customer service. The R50 Pro is my go to on searches, it stays in the cradle in my truck at all times and has helped with countless hours of night searches in fog, rain, and snow it's been a trooper. Would recommend this to any serious power user.

Excellent light for the price. I've had this for nearly a year now. Very good battery life. Extremely bright in the lowest light conditions. I never leave home without it.

Simply put, it is a fantastic light when it works. Great output, good mounting options, rugged design. Unfortunately, after fully charging it (and confirming it works), if i leave it off the charger for one or two days, it completely discharges the battery. I have barely used it because of this. It has been relegated to a backup that sits on a charger in a spare bedroom. Shame.

The R50 is an awesome lightA I have two and keep them at the ready for power outages, as the cradle will turn it on in a power outage (if you set it that way). Excellent quality and service from a brand you can trust!

I own the LE package light, the bedside chargeing dock and the truck charging dock make this light extremely versatile. Itll throw light on turbo for almost 30 minutes on full charge if you can stand the heat. I keep it in my truck 99% of the time since any flashlight id need at night would be a PL pro valkyrie. My only negative would be that olight hasnt made a pocket clip for it, i dont wear a belt in the winter because carhartt overalls do not have belt loops for the holster.
